Groaning as she stepped out onto the street, Hawkeye stubled lightly over her feet, feeling to numb to even feel the light rain falling from the engorged sky, plastering her golden hair to her pounding head.

Letting her mahogany eyes fall downwards, she watched her pup trotting by her side, happily jumping into the growing puddles of water.

She sighed, her breath escaping in a slow gush of air that seemed to relieve the pressure that stuck in her stiff shoulders, her weary body relaxing momentarily, her gaze falling to the pooch walking quietly beside her on the shadowed worn cobble stone street.

Throwing her heavy head back, she rose an arm to her throbbing head, placing her calloused fingers on the top of her tresses as she watched the darkened clouds dance so far above her blond moon light lite hair.
